Young Archie 2020
The Young Archie competition invites budding artists between the ages of 5 and 18 to submit a portrait. Beginning in 2013, this annual competition is judged by the Gallery’s community engagement manager and a guest judge, based on merit and originality.

Coronavirus in Children’s eyes
The outbreak of coronavirus across the globe is changing the world and everyone’s life. Australia-China Institute for Arts and Culture organised an artwork competition entitled Coronavirus in Children’s eyes. J.K Rowing The Ickabog Competition
In 2020, Harry Potter creator JK Rowling is asking children to draw illustrations for her forthcoming fantasy book, The Ickabog. Rowling is publishing the story online for free as a gift for children who are stuck at home and isolated from friends.
Ryan, Carissa and Justin’s illustrations are shortlisted.
